This morning we had a rather lazy start to the day with everyone enjoying a bit of a sleep in. Once everyone had kicked themselves into gear, we headed out to the National Park to visit the Skywalk, Nature’s Window and Z-Bend Lookout. All were stunning sights though the number of people visiting them was huge given that it is now school holidays. I think we have been spoilt with the relative lack of people at all the other tourist destinations over the past 3 months.

We spent most of the morning taking in the sights of the National Park and doing several short walks before returning to town where we stopped at Pelly’s Cafe for lunch. The food was quite good and the view over the water made a nice spot to enjoy lunch.

After lunch we headed back to our apartment for a quick rest before we walked down to the beach for some fun in the sand. The boys had a lot of fun burying each other and the sun popped in and out from the clouds to keep us warm enough from the cool breeze. After quite a long time at the beach, we returned to our apartment to showers that would hopefully rid us from most of the sand we bought back!

Tonight we are eating in again and most likely watching a movie.
