Exmouth – Coral Bay

Only a short drive between places today so we had a very relaxed start with “L” having another go-kart ride around the caravan park before we finally checked out. After checking out we headed into town to have another look at the Art Gallery and then headed up the Cape to see the Navy Pier, though it turns out you actually can’t get to it! The beaches in this area were absolutely covered with jellyfish though, as they were at Town Beach yesterday.

On the road, we had an uneventful drive to Coral Bay, arriving around 12:30pm. We drove around the area then had some lunch at the place we are staying at as our room wasn’t ready yet. After a quick walk across to the beach, we had a message to say our room was ready so we checked in and unloaded the car. We have a nice apartment with stunning ocean views.

After that, we headed up to the shop to get some more milk and the boys got icecreams before heading back to our accommodation to get into our bathers. We spent the rest of the afternoon snorkeling straight off the beach and just generally enjoying playing in the sand and watching the sun set.

Sunset from our Balcony

Back to our room and we had soup for dinner and watched a silly movie as it is a bit cool outside. “A” also caught up with her friend Megan who is staying here at the moment with her family.
