Quite a short entry today as we did a whole lot of nothing!! This morning we met Nan and Gramps to go to the Bush Yarn at 10am. Quite an interesting talk as we learnt about the tools the local women use and the symbols used in artwork to depict various things.
After the yarn session, we enjoyed a morning coffee/hot chocolate together and visited the Gallery of Central Australia before Nan and Gramps hit the road for Kings Canyon where we will meet up with them again tomorrow.

After Nan and Gramps left we wandered around the shops and picked up some rolls for lunch which we ate back at our apartment. After lunch we went for a longer walk around the resort, checking out all the different accommodation options and facilities. We ended up in the Town Square to view all the local indigenous artists and may have purchased a piece or two of their incredible works.
Back to our apartment for a restful afternoon which was much needed after two days of long walks. We did a bit of shopping at the local IGA, picked up some takeaway for dinner and settled in for a night watching Dr Dolittle 2 at the boys request.
Here are a few more pics from some other days that G found in our collection as we did not snap that much today.
