Probably not a lot to fill 3 days in Coober Pedy so it was nice to have a fairly relaxing day. We had a sleep in before venturing out for a morning of noodling. Think “G” ran out of enthusiasm for our noodling before anyone else, he suspects it’s because he’s colour-blind and couldn’t see what we kept pointing out to him 😀

Around 11:30am we headed up to The Big Winch to enjoy the sunshine, delicious food and do some work. We all had delicious lunches including desserts and spent several hours just sitting, eating, drinking and relaxing in the sun ….. well, “G” and “A” did anyway, the boys were busy doing Week 3’s assigned schoolwork!

After lunch we meandered through town, filling up with fuel etc before dropping “G” and “R” back to the hotel. “G” had a rest, “R” caught up on digital tech whilst “L” and “A” went for a bit more noodling. The sun got the better of “L” and “A” after about half an hour so joined the others back at the hotel for a relaxing afternoon.

This evening will be packing and getting ready for the longest stretch of driving on our trip tomorrow, think we’re in for nearly 8hrs driving tomorrow … yuck!!
