A fairly chilled out day today. We started with a loooooong sleep in before eventually hopping in Katie to go and check out the sights. We headed to Dampier and up to the Burrup Peninsula. The size of the industrial works out there are huge! We also checked out the Red Dog statue and Hearson’s Cove where we spent a little while sitting and relaxing on the very shelly beach.

Back into Karratha and we hit the Woolworths to stock up on supplies before visiting the bakery for lunch which we took back to our hotel room. The afternoon was spent relaxing before “A” caught up on work while “G” and the boys hit the pool.
A commented that out of all the towns we have visited so far, Karratha would be one she could live in as it appeared to have good facilities and great temperature. G reminded her that it gets high 40’s and cyclones. A likes Perth.
We opted for room service for dinner as we all just wanted a relaxing night in.
