Not a lot else to do at Eighty Mile Beach other than enjoy the beach so it will be a fairly short blog post today!!
We had a bit of a sleep in before breakfast and then hitting the beach for a play. The boys played in the sand, we admired the tiny crabs and just generally chilled out for the morning.

Closer to the middle of the day it was getting quite toasty and the tide was a long way out so we headed back to our cabin to cook some bacon and eggs for lunch and have an afternoon of naps, relaxing and schoolwork.
A little later in the afternoon, we got our fishing gear ready and hit the beach again for a fishing afternoon with every other man and his dog from the park. The guy near us caught two dhufish but no-one else appeared to have much luck, including us. It was possibly one of the most frustrating fishing adventures “L” and “A” have had as you could see all the fish jumping about in the ocean with some of them even coming quite close to your legs in the water; pity they wouldn’t jump on the end of the hook!!
After the sun went down, we headed back to our cabin to cook some roast veg and sausages for dinner before calling it a night.
